PADI MERMAID INSTRUCTOR COURSE

 the PADI  mermaid instructor course is designed to help you to improve your mermaiding skills and teaching techniques The goals of the course are :

•  Assure that instructor candidates understand the PADI Mermaid program structure, philosophy, requirements and procedures
• Prepare instructor candidates to teach courses that are low-stress, performancebased, safety-oriented and learner-centered. .
  
• Rene instructor candidates’ mermaid skills to a role-model level. 
• Provide instructor candidates with practical suggestions for organizing and marketing their courses

The padi mermaid course may be a new course to our dive center but is a very famous and popular course, this can create a new professional path for you, are you ready to explore it?

Academic

The PADI  mermaid instructor  course has 2 main parts and 4 workshops:

• knowledge development including teaching techniques according to the padi standards , learning and teaching , risk management  . At the end there is a final exam
  
• confined water sections to improve your teaching skills
  

• basic swimming skills: You will develop basic swimming skills
• mermaid skills: we will repeat the mermaid skills and our goal is to be able to do them in a role model manner
• rescue skills: An instructor must be able to rescue a diver , so in this workshop we will practice on those skills cramp release, rescue a diver with lmc , rescue a blackout diver
• 2 confined water teaching presentations:you will teach 2 skills to your colleagues , our goal is to get teaching skills and face the teaching reality. you have to teach according to the padi standards
